I actually haven't done any character lighting at all before. Because of that, it seemed really daunting and intimidating to light a subject that isn't an environment - but no more! I really think lighting a character is a whole new craft to learn! And it's cool as hell! I treated this as a static marketing shot without any perf constraint so I could overkill it. It's really interesting and it has different challenges compared to environment lighting.
Many thanks to Audrey for all the feedback she's been giving me throughout this character lighting study! :D

And special thanks to anyone else who gave me any tips along the way!
I spent more or less 4 evenings from start to finish. I did a huge pass on the asset dressing and level art as well. The character and environment came from the UE4 marketplace + some dekogon prop packs.
